This top quality digital AES lead is made especially to suit the digital output from professional sound cards such as the Lynx AES 16 and is wired to take the output from channel # 1 of the sound card to a D.A.C. thus converting the digital output of the sound card to an analogue signal which can then be routed to a pair of active speakers or other analogue equipment.

The 25 pin D-Sub connector of this particular lead is supplied wired to the 'Yamaha' standard to suit the Lynx AES16 sound card but it can also be wired to the 'Tascam' standard to suit other sound cards if so required. Please let us know at the time of ordering if you require the lead to be wired to the 'Tascam' standard otherwise it will be made to the 'Yamaha' standard.

Due to its popularity, this lead has now become a standard feature in our ever growing range of top quality professional leads. It is hand made to the highest standards using Van damme green series 110 Ohm digital AES / EBU cable which is terminated at one end with a top quality Deltron DB-25 male connector fitted with gold plated pins and housed in a bright nickel plated metal 25 way D-Sub hood and at the other end with Neutrik's special NC3MXCC 3 pole digital male XLR with gold plated pins. The connectors are professionally soldered using a lead free solder with a minimum 4% silver content to make what we believe to be one of the finest custom made leads available for the Lynx AES 16 sound card.

All CustomleadZ branded leads of 2mtr. and longer are supplied with a hook and loop cable tie to keep them neatly coiled when not in use.
