This top quality professional data lead is hand made using Van Damme's 'TourCat' 4 x twisted pair screened Cat 5E data cable which is terminated with high quality screened RJ45 data connectors and Neutrik's NE8MC-1 or NE8MC-B-1 Ethercon® connector carriers.

Van Damme's 'TourCat' cable is designed and engineered to suit the demands of touring and stage use. This cable is extremely flexible with the feel and flexibility of Van Damme microphone cable combined with category 5E performance to TIA/EIA-568-B.2-2001 standards and is perfectly suited to Neutrik's Ethercon® range of connectors.

Neutrik's Ethercon® cable connector carrier upgrades a conventional RJ45 connector to an extremely robust lockable solution suitable for harsh and demanding environments. They have a rugged die cast shell with Neutrik's unique chuck type strain relief and are available as standard in a matt silver collinox plated finish, or at a small extra cost in a black chromium plated finish. Also available at a small extra cost is a choice of a further 9 different coloured boots which can be used for identification purposes details of which can be found in the technical specification for the connectors.

All CustomleadZ branded leads of 2mtr. and longer are supplied with a hook and loop cable tie to keep them neatly coiled when not in use.

PLEASE NOTE: The connections to the RJ45 data connectors are crimp type connections which require the use of a special crimp tool. They are NOT soldered as our other leads are or as stated in the guarantee in the left side column but they do have the same guarantee cover as all other CustomleadZ branded leads.
