This top quality professional 'silent' guitar / instrument lead is hand made using Van damme classic XKE instrument cable which is terminated at the instrument end with Neutrik's latest NP2X-AU-SILENT jack and at the opposite end with their NP2X-B jack. The connectors are professionally soldered using a lead free solder with a minimum 4% silver content to make what we believe to be one of the finest guitar / instrument leads available.

The NP2X-AU-Silent jack which we use for this lead is a special version of the 2 pole jack plug which has an integrated switch that automatically mutes (shorts) the guitar lead to prevent those annoying pops and sqeals which occur when hot swapping guitars.

The integrated silent switch is based on the REED technology and guarantees a lifetime beyond 10,000 mating cycles.

All CustomleadZ branded leads of 2mtr. and longer are supplied with a hook and loop cable tie to keep them neatly coiled when not in use.
