The image above is of a power distribution cabinet and panels, designed and custom made for our client by SurebuyZ and which is to be used for the wiring and control of special effects in a static display that will form part of the 2012 London Olympics.

This cabinet was made to our design by a local sheet metal company from mild steel plate and finished with a nice black satin finish powder coat. The front panels were manufactured from standard blank 19" rack panels and were machined 'in house' to accept the various connectors and fittings required for the display. All of the detail on the front of the panels was also engraved 'in house' by SurebuyZ to provide a clear, permanent and professional looking identification of all of the different connections available.

The top four panels are all 240V rated whilst the bottom panel is for audio, DMX and other low voltage applications so the cabinet itself was made with an internal divider built in to ensure that the 240V and the lower voltage wiring did not come into contact with each other. Also the cabinet had lengths of standard DIN rail attached to the inside back face to allow for the easy installation of any fittings and accessories to be included using DIN type fitments.

We are able to manufacture to order all types of cabinets and enclosures from a variety of materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc. with whatever combination of plugs, sockets and connectors necessary to suit our clients requirements. We also have our own in house PAT testing facilities.
